FEHA members Elaine Racicot, Pat Carrico, Eric Maday, Jack Towle, Jim McRae along with “junior honorary” FEHA member Sean McRae picked up trash at the Annual Halifax River clean up on Saturday, April 1st. The volunteers picked up trash around the Seabreeze Bridge and boat ramp in Daytona Beach. 18 bags of trash were collected along with miscellaneous other items that would not fit into the trash bags like a rusty microwave, seat cushions, and big chunks of styrofoam. Each FEHA member was given 5 FEHA bucks for participating in the annual river clean up. The grand prize winner at this event was Eric Maday. He won a free one-year FEHA membership courtesy of the Halifax District.
